From breakfast to business - kickstarting the Event

The day began with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and a delicious breakfast, giving us the perfect boost of energy to embrance the exciting challenges of the Google Cloud Summit Poland 2024. From the outset, our booth buzzed with activity, drawing interest from attendees eager to connect and explore our solutions.

The event featured several thematic tracks, each offering a diverse array of  engaging presentations tailored to different interests and industries. This thoughtful organization ensured that every participant could find topics aligned with their goals and curiosities. Our team capitalised on this opportunity, attending numerous insightful sessions,  including two standout presentations.  The first, "AI in Eye Diseases Detection using Google Cloud," presented by Lesław Pawlaczyk, CEO of Recogify Ltd, discussed leveraging Google Cloud and AI for medical applications. The presentation covered EU sponsorship, modern convolutional neural networks for medical vision tasks, resource challenges, cost reduction strategies, and future plans. The second, "Architecture and Challenges of Creating a Mobile Application for Millions of Users in the Retail Sector (FMCG)," presented by Patryk Dąbrowski, IT Architecture and DevOps Senior Manager, Chief Architect at JERONIMO MARTINS POLSKA S.A., explored the development of Biedronka's mobile app. It focused on architectural and technological challenges, scalability, fault tolerance, and Google Cloud benefits.

It was worthwhile to attend these and other presentations, which demonstrated the significant value customers achieved using Google technology.
